Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1979. Grew up in Oman, America and London and now living in Oman, lecturing in Photography at the Higher College of Technology, Muscat.
Graduated with a BA in Film, Photography and Imaging from Napier University, Edinburgh in 2004 and an MA in Photography from The Royal College of Art, London in 2006.
