På avstand

På avstand presents scenes from an ordinary Norwegian suburbia, where familiarity veils an underlying strangeness. Made while I was artist-in-residence in Straumen, Inderøy, during my first year living in Norway, the series reflects on my own sense of repositioning — geographically and emotionally. The photographs explore what it means to observe from the outside while searching for belonging, transforming the physical landscape into a psychological one.
